Job summary

Charles River Development (CRD), the FinTech division of State Street, is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of its platform. Working within a Scrum team, you will design automation frameworks, expand coverage, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

This hybrid role requires at least 3 days in the office weekly. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business analysts to drive testing best practices and build scalable automation

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software testing in a process-driven tech environment.
• Proficient in at least one OO language (Java, C#, JS, Python).
• Hands-on front-end testing with Playwright/Selenium or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable automated test frameworks and regression suites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality feature delivery.
• Expand automation coverage across functional, integration, and system testing.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Identify quality risks early and drive testing process improvements.
• Contribute to shared automation libraries and testing infrastructure.
• Advocate for quality engineering best practices across the lifecycle.
