Job summary

State Street is seeking a Junior QA Engineer to support quality assurance for a cloud-native application built on AWS and Databricks. This role is ideal for someone early in their QA career who wants to learn modern testing practices across data pipelines, APIs, and web apps.

You will collaborate with developers, data engineers, and senior QA engineers in a hybrid setup (3 days per week in the office) to validate functionality, performance, and data quality on the platform.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years QA/Software Testing experience.
• Understanding of testing lifecycle and methodologies.
• Experience with data pipelines and cloud environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for web apps, APIs, and data-driven features.
• Validate end-to-end workflows across UI, services, and data layers.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Assist with test automation and CI/CD quality gates.
