Job summary

Infinity Quest seeks a Senior QA Engineer specializing in test automation to lead quality initiatives for cloud-based applications. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated test solutions that scale and integrate with CI/CD.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on Playwright experience (TS, Python or Java) and a strong background in end-to-end testing, agile teams, and English communication.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and test automation.
• Hands-on Playwright experience for UI and API testing.
• Experience designing automated testing frameworks for web apps and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and test lifecycle.
• Experience in Agile environments with CI/CD integration.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and event-driven distributed systems.
• Create and execute end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright with TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Develop robust UI and API test automation to ensure high quality products.
• Lead quality engineering initiatives by identifying opportunities for test process improvements.
• Define testing strategies and best practices across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and analysts to embed quality in development.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred) for faster releases.
• Analyze results, troubleshoot defects, and drive timely resolution.

Experience and Skills:

• Experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks for web applications and event-driven distributed systems
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality engineering practices, and test lifecycle management

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of colleagues in English
