Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Technical Lead QA Engineer to drive test automation across data platforms, ETL processes, and backend systems. You will lead the design, maintenance, and promotion of automated testing frameworks and data quality checks.

You will collaborate with development, platform, infra, and ML teams, driving quality strategy and shift-left initiatives while mentoring engineers and ensuring robust data infrastructure for global investment operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in QA Automation or QA leadership.
• Strong Python automation coding and framework engineering.
• Proven ability to design and extend test automation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and test plans in pipelines.
• Hands-on API and backend testing of REST/gRPC services.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks for data pipelines, ETL and backend systems.
• Drive test automation adoption and alignment across teams and stakeholders.
• Automate data quality checks for DWH, Data lake and BigData environments.
• Lead API and backend test automation, performance tests, and CI/CD integration.
• Collaborate with platform, infra and ML engineers to ensure scalability and reliability.
