Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a Technical Lead QA Engineer to drive test automation across data platforms and pipelines. You will design and maintain automation frameworks for ETL, DWH, and backend systems while promoting a shift-left quality approach.

You will lead cross-team adoption, mentor engineers, and collaborate with platform, infra, and ML teams to ensure scalable, reliable test coverage across data operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in QA automation.
• 3+ years Python automation.
• 2+ years Pytest experience.
• Daily Git usage (branching, PRs, reviews).
• Experience with Azure DevOps for API testing.
• Strong SQL for data validation in ETL tests.
• Databricks testing experience (not just notebooks).
• Familiar with test automation tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Lead test automation adoption across teams and align with goals.
• Automate data quality checks for data warehouses, data lake, and big data.
• Create reusable test tools/packages for multiple projects.
• Automate API and backend tests (REST/GRPC).
• Run performance, scalability, and fault-tolerance tests.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with platform, infra, and ML engineers.
