Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Technical Lead QA Engineer to drive test automation across data platforms, ETL processes and backend systems. You will design and maintain automated frameworks, automate data quality checks, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with platform, infra, and ML teams.

You will lead initiatives, mentor teams, and promote a shift-left approach to ensure robust data infrastructure for global investments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in QA Automation.
• Strong, practical experience with Python (3+ years).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable automation code and extend frameworks.
• Strong, proven experience with Pytest (2+ years).
• Hands on experience with Git (daily usage).
• Experience with Azure DevOps: Pipelines, repos, boards, test plans.
• Backend & API testing expertise: REST, authentication, data validation.
• Strong SQL and Python for test automation.
• Experience with Databricks (2+ years).
• Familiarity with ETL testing and data warehouses.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and toolchains.
• QA leadership experience to mentor and drive standards.
• Fast learner, adaptable to new tools & technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Automate data quality checks for platforms like Data Warehouses, Data lake, and BigData environments.
• Automate API and backend testing (REST/gRPC) and run performance tests.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and drive quality initiatives across teams.
• Collaborate closely with platform, infra, and ML engineers.
