Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Technical Lead QA Engineer to own test automation for data platforms, ETL processes, and backend systems. You will drive shift-left quality, design reusable test tools, and collaborate with development, infra, and ML teams.

The role emphasizes end-to-end test automation, API testing, and data validation across pipelines, with leadership responsibilities for ongoing quality strategy and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in QA automation and testing leadership.
• Strong Python (3+ years) and Pytest proficiency.
• Experience with APIs (REST/gRPC) and data tests in ETL.
• Hands-on with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Databricks testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks for data pipelines and backend systems.
• Lead test automation initiatives and drive quality across teams.
• Automate data quality checks for DWH, data lake and big data environments.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with platform/infra/ML teams.
