Job summary

Traffit in Wrocław is seeking a Senior Python Developer to scale our backend for a connected-device platform used by retail and hospitality across Europe. You will build backend services, improve reliability, and work with the Tech Lead and Android team.

This hands-on role requires 4–5 years of backend experience, strong Python skills with FastAPI/Django/Flask, and experience with MySQL, Redis, MQTT, Docker and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of backend development experience.
• Strong Python skills with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Experience with MySQL and Redis.
• Solid knowledge of MQTT and broker configurations.
• Cloud experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop backend features in Python.
• Improve performance and reliability of services for devices.
• Investigate and fix connectivity issues, including MQTT-related delays and drops.
• Maintain the communication layer between devices and backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable code and automated tests.
• Collaborate with Tech Lead and Android team.
