Job summary

Luxoft Kraków is hiring a senior Python backend engineer for a long-term enterprise project in the investment banking domain. You will design and evolve Python-based microservices and production-grade backend systems in a distributed cloud environment.

You’ll collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders in an Agile setting, contributing code, technical direction and mentoring across teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Python development delivering production systems.
• Proficient in scalable microservices and clean code architecture.
• Strong experience with REST and Kafka-based integrations.
• Experience with OAuth2/JWT and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and containers.
• Proficient in testing (pytest) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments.
• Ability to mentor and set technical direction.
