Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Python Developer to join its international team building a strategic platform for pricing and recommendations. The role focuses on developing data pipelines, backend services, and APIs to power pricing insights across the organization.

You will work in an Agile environment with product owners, architects, and engineers, collaborating to deliver scalable solutions while spending 2–3 days per week in the Warsaw office.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Python Developer with a focus on backend and data development.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with data-processing libraries such as Pandas.
• Experience with frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Solid SQL skills and hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience building and orchestrating data pipelines, ideally using Airflow.
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Fluent English and Polish communication skills, with experience working in an international environment.
• Willingness to work from the Warsaw office 2-3 days per week (50% on-site).

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining data ingestion and transformation pipelines
• Building and evolving the data model with a strong focus on data quality, consistency and reliability
• Developing and maintaining Python backend services and REST APIs that expose pricing and vehicle-related data
• Integrating internal and external systems through APIs and event-driven data flows
• Writing clean, well-documented and well-tested code while ensuring production stability through monitoring and data quality checks
• Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Architects, Scrum Masters and Developers to deliver scalable business solutions
