Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Big Data Developer in Warsaw to design and build a modern data platform. You will implement scalable data solutions using Databricks, Python, and PySpark, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines across batch and streaming data.

The role requires strong Databricks experience, Delta Tables proficiency, and Azure Data Factory knowledge, with advanced English and a passion for AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong Python and PySpark expertise.
• Experience with Databricks, Delta Tables, and modern data architectures.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure data services including Data Factory and Event Hub.
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Interest in AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data solutions using Databricks, Python, and PySpark
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data
• Implement and maintain medallion architecture using Delta Tables
• Integrate data from multiple sources including SFTP, Delta Tables, and Azure Event Hub
• Work with Azure Data Factory to support end-to-end data workflows
• Utilize AI-powered development tools to improve code quality, testing, documentation, and productivity
