Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions for a pharmaceutical industry project. You will contribute to a modern data platform used across markets, enabling advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.

The role involves developing data pipelines, implementing Python-based solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support migrations and integrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
• Strong Python development skills, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data processing with Pandas.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable data engineering solutions.
• Experience working in Agile teams and using modern software development and project management practices.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform supporting data-driven business processes and analytics.
• Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using modern Python development practices.
• Build reliable and maintainable data pipelines following object-oriented design principles.
• Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support platform migrations, enhancements, and integrations across evolving business environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing data and processing pipelines.
