Job summary

Turner & Townsend Poland is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major Industrial / Manufacturing / Logistics / Data Center construction projects. This is a client-facing role focused on delivery and business development to accelerate growth and strengthen market position.

You will manage cost, schedule, and budgets, lead cross-functional teams, and build strong relationships with clients. Fluent Polish and English are required to engage with stakeholders across regions and disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Project Manager with sector experience e.g. Industrial, Pharma, Logistics, Manufacturing or Data Center.
• University degree in Civil/Building Construction, Construction Management, HVAC or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to identify and secure new opportunities and lead market-facing activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall project cost, schedule and budgets.
• Manage General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.
• Analyse, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
• Run and lead client and other required meetings.
• Lead business development activities aiming towards accelerating the growth and strengthening further market position.
• Build on strong relationships with clients through interaction and cross-functional team members.
• Identify the factors that influence construction costs and monitor and report on this data.
• Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.
• Oversee and manage the transfer of the building operations to the client including all close out documentation and warranties.

Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to work on major Industrial / Manufacturing / Logistics / Data Center construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in key sector projects with an impact and interact with global leaders within Turner & Townsend. This is a client facing role focused on delivery, while also consisting of leading business development activities.

Job Objectives

• Manage overall project cost, schedule and budgets.


• Manage General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.


• Analyse, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.


• Run and lead client and other required meetings.


• Lead business development activities aiming towards accelerating the growth and strengthening further market position


• Build on strong relationships with clients through interaction and cross-functional team members. The job requires the holder to build trust with clients, industry partners and colleagues, and maintain our “One Business” ethos.


• Identify the factors that influence construction costs and monitor and report on this data.


• Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.


• Advocate on the part of the client during disputes, disagreements, modifications, or change orders.


• Oversee and manage the transfer of the building operations to the client including all close out documentation and warranties.


• Review construction proposals and related pricing/scopes.


• Management of design phases.


• Knowledge and experience with all methods of construction procurement and long lead equipment.


• Ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective cost & project management service from pre contract to handover


• In conjunction with Business Generation Team undertake business development activities related to pursuing for new project opportunities from pursuit plan to conversion.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Project Manager with previous sector experience e.g. Industrial, Pharma, Logistics, Manufacturing or Data Center.


• University degree in Civil/Building Construction, Construction Management, HVAC or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.


• Taking responsibility for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities in the market.


• Lead on market facing activities facilitating growth.


• Taking responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients.


• Identify and understand areas of opportunity and development and ensure early awareness of upcoming investment in projects by clients and be able to early engage.


• Knowledge of Structural, Civil and/or Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical and Low Voltage scopes of work.


• Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.


• Strong and professional communication skills, with great organization skills, ability to multi-task.


• Must have a “team attitude”, be self-motivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.


• Management experience, with ability to manage and lead team in delivering a commission and general line management.


• Manage revenue, team resource and priorities to ensure that client expectations are met.


• Business level of Polish and English language skills required.
