Job summary

Turner & Townsend is expanding its EU practice and seeks a Cost Manager in Kraków with experience in real estate, infrastructure or related sectors. You will handle cost estimation, procurement, tendering, and post-contract cost reporting, coordinating with clients and internal teams across project stages.

The role requires strong numeric and analytical skills, plus proficiency in Polish and English, to support delivery across multi-disciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost management for real estate, infrastructure or consultancy.
• Polish and English language skills are required.
• Strong ability to manage procurement, tendering and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pre- and post-contract cost estimates and procurement documentation.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning; present final cost plan.
• Manage tendering, pre-qualification, tender analysis and contract documents.
• Perform cost checks, valuations and monthly post-contract cost reporting.
• Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
• Lead cost risk analysis and contribute to value engineering.

Job Description

Due to our continued successes and expansion of our EU business, we currently want to talk with Cost Managers at all career levels with relevant or transferable sector experience:-

Job Objectives

• Pre and post-contract duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
• Completing feasibility studies and writing procurement reports
• Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan
• Tendering and procurement activity, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, preliminaries, tender analysis, tender report and compiling the contractual documents
• Taking responsibility for timely and accurate cost checks and valuations
• Producing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the client
• Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
• Participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes
• Perform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts
• Maintain central feedback and learning on cost estimating from prospects and projects and contribute to updating of best practices in estimating

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of Data Center, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Pharma, Real Estate, Residential, Commercial or other related facility asset types.
• Good knowledge of all methods of construction and procurement.
• Inquisitive, technical knowledge with passion for working on similar asset types.
• Experienced with, or managing team that uses multiple estimating tools and applications.
• Strong experience with spreadsheets and databases.
• Collaborative approach, able to develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, internally and externally.
• Good organization skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated strong listening and communication skills.
• Proven cost and/or commercial management experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Polish and English language skills required.
