Job summary

Universal Investment in Kraków is seeking a Project Finance Controller to join a high-visibility role with project leadership and C-level executives. You will own financial control, monitor budgets, forecasts and commitments, and produce concise management information to support strategic decisions.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience in PMO/project controlling within financial services or a complex corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and numerical skills to quickly understand complex information and identify trends.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with complex financial and project data.
• Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint skills for concise, senior-management-ready presentations.
• Experience in controlling, financial analysis, project controlling, PMO or comparable analytical role.

Responsibilities

• Own financial controlling and transparency of the project.
• Monitor budgets, spend, forecasts and commitments.
• Maintain overview of costs and identify variances and risks.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Prepare high-quality analyses and management information for decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy and documentation, coordinating with finance and stakeholders.
• Provide transparency on the project’s overall financial position.
• Develop reporting for leadership and senior management.
• Prepare updates, presentations and management materials for C-level.
• Translate financial data into clear insights and messages.
• Support governance, planning and coordination from a financial perspective.
• Improve project reporting, processes and controls.
