Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Senior Program Manager within the CIO Enterprise Technology & AI organization to lead complex, cross-functional technology programs that advance our IT strategy. You’ll translate strategic objectives into structured roadmaps and measurable outcomes, partnering with IT leadership to align efforts across Finance, Legal, Product, and Security.

This remote, async-friendly role requires technical fluency and business acumen, with a proven ability to deliver high-impact programs

Qualifications

6+ years of program management experience in enterprise tech/AI.
Ability to simplify complex processes and structure ambiguous problems.
Experience influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional alignment.
Comfort switching between strategic and hands-on execution.
Strong written and verbal communication for ETA leadership.
Familiarity with enterprise IT domains (data, security, apps).
PM methodologies: Agile, Scrum, SAFe; PMP/CSM a plus.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end program management for large-scale Enterprise Tech & AI initiatives.
Define success metrics and report status to ETA leadership.
Partner with stakeholders to understand problems and outcomes.
Drive cross-functional alignment and resolve dependencies.
Improve program governance and intake processes.
Translate requirements into actionable work plans.
Anticipate risks and mitigate blockers.
Model GitLab values and remote work best practices.
