Job summary

BorgWarner in Poland is seeking a technically oriented specialist to provide support during product manufacturing, and to serve as the primary contact for product engineering teams at other locations.

You will coordinate product engineering activities at the headquarters, ensure products meet specifications, track performance, support cost-reduction initiatives, and resolve issues with suppliers, the factory, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support during product manufacturing.
• Serving as the key point of contact for product engineering departments at other locations.
• Coordinating product engineering activities at the company’s headquarters; organizing support and involvement from other product engineering units as needed.
• Responsibility for ensuring the product meets specification requirements.
• Tracking and reporting product performance during manufacturing.
• Coordinating cost-reduction initiatives.
• Resolving product issues at the factory, with suppliers, and with customers.
• Managing product changes.
• Assisting in defining test procedures and test equipment specifications.
• Assisting in the analysis of customer returns.
