Job summary

HERE Technologies in Kraków seeks a Senior Principal Research Engineer to own and evolve HERE's Privacy by Design framework across the product lifecycle. You will lead DPIA methodologies, threshold assessments, and privacy reviews while embedding privacy controls into engineering workflows.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security and Architecture to deliver scalable privacy engineering solutions, automating core privacy processes and enabling risk-based decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong background in privacy engineering and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Automate privacy management tooling across DPIAs, RoPA, DSR, consent management and retention controls.
• Evolve and operate the Privacy by Design framework end-to-end across product lifecycles.
• Drive automation of privacy processes and provide scalable governance.
• Develop privacy risk scanners, dashboards, and KPIs to measure program effectiveness.
• Advise cross-functional teams on privacy-by-design patterns and standards.
