Job summary

Cloudbeds is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the POS product across React Native, Python, and cloud infrastructure. You will work on the mobile app, backend services, and deployment pipelines to deliver a reliable, offline-capable POS experience for hospitality properties.

You bring 5+ years of software engineering, strong Python/TypeScript, and hands-on cloud/infra knowledge (Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS).

Qualifications

• Experience building production mobile/Frontend apps with React Native or similar tech.
• Strong backend experience with Python/FastAPI is highly relevant.
• Familiarity with cloud infra (Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS) and deployment tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end POS features across mobile app, backend services, and infra.
• Design reliable APIs, data models, and offline-first capabilities.
• Ensure observability, testing, release quality, and production reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Payments, and other teams across time zones.
