Job summary

Software Mind is building a private cloud solution for a government institution in Western Europe. You will design and deliver backend applications, migrate workloads, and support production operations.

The path includes growing into a tech lead role with mentoring and client-facing responsibilities. We expect 5+ years of Python experience, strong CI/CD and GitLab knowhow, testing familiarity with Robot Framework and Pytest, and solid Linux/infrastructure skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial Python experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.
• Testing frameworks: Robot Framework, Pytest.
• Experience with containers.
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Infrastructure knowledge: firewalls, reverse/forward proxies, networking.
• A consulting mindset and ability to handle underdefined scope.
• Ability to build client relationships and maintain trust.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing and deploying new backend applications
• Testing and improving existing backend infrastructure applications
• Meetings with architects and designers on system and application design
• Migration of workloads into the new environment and production support
• Contributing to scope estimation and pre-sales input
