Job summary

Moderna Warsaw is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape the developer platform that powers our software ecosystem. You’ll design secure, scalable capabilities spanning cloud infra, automation, and AI-assisted development with cross‑functional teams.

You will implement paved-road patterns, reusable templates, and secure workspace patterns while collaborating with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to minimize developer friction and improve productivity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or related roles
• Strong Python or TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with GitHub, Actions, CI/CD workflows
• Experience with AWS or another cloud provider
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments
• Strong secure software development practices and software supply chain awareness
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders
• Excellent troubleshooting across code, pipelines, cloud, networking and tooling

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure developer platform capabilities
• Create reusable templates and paved-road patterns for secure development environments
• Collaborate with engineers to standardize development environments and onboarding
• Improve developer experience by reducing setup time and automating workflows
• Establish operational practices for platform services and incident response
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to enforce security controls
• Develop scalable platform tooling and automation for AI-assisted development
• Contribute to broader builders tools and enterprise engineering standards
