Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Platform - Cloud Events team to ensure data from devices is validated and assessed by ML models running in the Cloud. You will enhance ML operations and support a lifecycle for model improvement.

Collaborate with Product, TPMs, and partner teams to improve edge software and sensor data processing, review code, and help design scalable distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years overall, 2+ years building high throughput backend services.
• Core Skills: Golang and/or Python, event streaming / message broker experience, distributed systems thinking, ML Ops knowledge a plus.
• Personal Attributes: Collaborative teammate and code reviewer, detail oriented system designer.
• Education: BS in Computer Science or related field

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of code quality through code review and documentation.
• Optimize machine learning operations with robust systems and by collaborating across teams.
• Expand capabilities of event pipeline to satisfy both general and client specific needs.
• Reduce cost of doing business by optimizing usage of cloud resources, especially GPUs.
