Job summary

Luxoft in Poland is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Platform - Cloud Events team to ensure data captured by devices is validated and assessed by ML models in the Cloud. You will enhance ML ops and lifecycle efficiency, working with product, TPMs, and partner teams building edge software and interpreting sensor data.

You will mentor through code reviews, improve architecture, and think systemically to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Experience: 7+ years of overall experience, 2+ years building high throughput backend services.
Core Skills: Professional experience with Golang and/or Python, event streaming / message broker experience (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar), distributed systems thinking, ML Ops knowledge a plus.
Personal Attributes: Collaborative teammate and code reviewer, detail oriented system designer.
Education: BS in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high level of code quality through code review and documentation.
Optimize machine learning operations with robust systems and by collaborating across teams.
Expand capabilities of event pipeline to satisfy both general and client specific needs.
Reduce cost of doing business with by optimizing usage of cloud resources, especially GPUs.
