Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Platform - Cloud Events team. You will ensure device data is validated and assessed by ML models running in the Cloud, and you will advance ML operations by enabling a more efficient model improvement lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Product, TPMs, and partner engineering teams that build edge software for sensor data, and you will help level up the team through code reviews and architectural improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall experience, 2+ years building high throughput backend services.
• Proficient with Golang and/or Python.
• Experience with event streaming systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Strong distributed systems mindset and ML Ops knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high code quality through code reviews and documentation.
• Improve ML operations with robust, scalable systems across teams.
• Extend the event pipeline to meet general and client-specific needs.
• Reduce cloud costs by optimizing resource usage, especially GPUs.
