Job summary

SentinelOne is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale its core data and caching infrastructure across Kubernetes and multi-cloud environments. You will enable cloud portability and ensure low-latency, high-throughput operations for an autonomous cybersecurity platform.

You will lead the end-to-end platform experience for distributed data services, drive automation with GitOps, and collaborate with FinOps to optimize cost and performance at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience operating distributed systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience with self-hosted Kafka and Redis in Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals and production workloads.
• Multi-cloud production expertise (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• IaC and GitOps with Terraform, ArgoCD, and CI/CD tooling.
• Scripting in Python, Go, or Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, operation, and end-to-end platform experience of distributed data services across Kubernetes and multi-cloud.
• Build automated, self-service infrastructure for SentinelOne apps and services (AWS, GCP, on-prem).
• Scale data infrastructure for petabytes/day ingestion with low latency and high throughput.
• Consolidate multi-tenant Kafka clusters to reduce cost and improve resilience.
• Drive lifecycle automation for data services using GitOps practices and tools.
• Set standards for observability, HA, backup, and DR in Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with FinOps and engineering to optimize performance and cost.
