Job summary

SentinelOne is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer to build, scale, and optimize our data and caching infrastructure across Kubernetes clusters and multi-cloud environments. You will enable cloud portability, ensure low-latency operations, and support petabyte-scale data processing with high uptime.

The role requires hands-on experience with Kafka/Redis in Kubernetes, strong Kubernetes knowledge, and proficiency in IaC and GitOps.

Qualifications

• Distributed systems experience at scale.
• Hands-on with self-hosted Kafka and Redis in Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes internals and production workloads.
• Multi-cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps with Terraform, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions.
• Programming in Python, Go, or Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, operation, and end-to-end platform experience of distributed data services (Kafka/Redis) across Kubernetes clusters and multi-clouds.
• Enable cloud portability for SentinelOne apps/services across AWS, GCP, and air-gapped on-prem environments.
• Manage and scale data infrastructure handling petabytes/day ingestion with low latency and high throughput.
• Consolidate and optimize multi-tenant Kafka clusters for cost and resilience.
• Automate lifecycle of distributed data services using GitOps tools (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Terraform).
• Define observability, HA, backup, and DR standards for Kubernetes workloads.
• Collaborate with FinOps and engineering to optimize performance, cost, and operational overhead.
