Job summary

Talkie sp. z o.o. is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join our Platform team. You will own features end-to-end across the backend and UI, touching telephony, EHRs, and LLMs to power our AI Agents.

You will research problems, shape requirements with the CPO, design interactions, architect solutions, build across the stack, ship into production, and monitor real-world performance with patients on calls.

Qualifications

• Shipped and owned a product or major features in production, end-to-end.
• Builds software that stays easy to change and maintain as it grows, with clear trade-offs.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js on the backend, React on the frontend, and databases such as MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or cloud providers and with IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Experience with AI-native development and building LLM-powered features with evals and cost considerations.
• Understanding SOC2/HIPAA implications for data, access, and logging in practice.
• Ability to propose user interactions and design clean UI without detailed mocks.
• Strong written and spoken English (C1 or above).

Responsibilities

• Own product features end-to-end from research to production deployment.
• Build across the stack: backend services (TypeScript/Node.js), frontend (React), and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Integrate LLMs and design models/tools usage, with evals to balance quality, latency and cost.
• Interface with SIP telephony, EHR systems, LLM providers, and other services.
• Shape technical and architectural decisions for scalable, maintainable platforms.
• Mentor other engineers and review designs and code.
• Turn open questions into plans with prototypes and trade-off analyses.
• Keep production healthy by monitoring, reducing alert noise, and addressing bottlenecks.
