Job summary

Trident BMC in Gdansk seeks a Lead / Senior Electrical Engineer to drive electrical design for international offshore wind projects. You will lead from concept through detailed engineering and coordinate interfaces with other disciplines.

You''ll develop calculations and specs, provide technical leadership to engineers and designers, and support client and supplier discussions, estimates, and proposals. Offshore substations experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience in offshore wind, offshore energy, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, LV/power distribution, and cable systems.
• Familiar with IEC and international standards.
• Experience with offshore substations/platforms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities from concept to detailed design.
• Develop and review calculations, specs, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers and designers.
• Coordinate electrical interfaces with other disciplines.
• Support discussions with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Contribute to project planning, cost estimation and proposals.
• Identify technical risks and support their resolution.
