Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Construction & Commissioning Electro Engineer for a major offshore wind project in Poland (Bałtyk 2/3). The role focuses on electrical discipline oversight across WTG systems, subsea cables, and offshore substations.

Responsibilities include developing commissioning strategies, coordinating activities across the wind farm, reviewing FATs/SATs, and supporting handover to Operations. Valid Polish SEP E and D licenses are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or Lead Engineer within construction and commissioning projects.
• Valid Polish SEP E and D electrical licenses (unrestricted).

Responsibilities

• Monitor offshore construction activities from Investor's perspective within the Electrical discipline.
• Develop and review commissioning strategies, procedures, commissioning plans, switching schedules, and related documentation.
• Provide overall coordination and planning of electrical commissioning activities across the wind farm.
• Ensure cross-package alignment of electrical construction and commissioning planning as well as execution activities.
• Planning, scheduling, and tracking commissioning works to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Participate in and evaluating FATs, SATs, punch list reviews, and various site inspections.
• Support and coordinating construction follow-up inspections, mechanical completion (MC) inspections, RFCC processes, and handover to Operations.
• Provide flexible support to other site management functions, including logistics, warehousing, and planning when required.

We are seeking an experienced Construction & Commissioning Electro Engineer to support one of the key offshore wind projects in Poland – Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3, delivered for a global leader in the energy sector.

Within this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring offshore construction activities from the Investor’s perspective within the Electrical discipline, covering WTG systems, subsea cables, and Offshore Substation electrical installations
• Acting as part of the Construction & Commissioning team, contributing to the development and review of commissioning strategies, procedures, commissioning plans, switching schedules, and related documentation
