Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to join its Poland-based engineering team, working remotely with an optional office base in Lublin. You’ll help build secure, high-quality software for the Pharmaceutical TMF domain and shape engineering practices from day one.

The role emphasizes solving complex problems, collaborating with business stakeholders, and advancing AI-assisted development tools in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft .NET / C# and Visual Studio.
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, or MySQL.
• Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, dependency injection, unit testing, and REST web services.
• Experience with React, Angular, or other modern UI frameworks.
• Exposure to Azure or other cloud PaaS services, containerisation, and distributed scalable solutions.
• Experience evaluating and adopting AI-assisted development tools in a security-conscious, regulated engineering environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Fixing bugs across codebases and improving quality.
• Architecting and building incremental features with guidance.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex coding issues including race conditions.
• Ensuring secure, maintainable software with performance and scalability.
• Championing AI-assisted development practices within the team.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver value in the TMF space.
• Maintaining secure software with a security-first approach.
• Supporting the Poland engineering team with leadership and handoffs.
