Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build and lead a new engineering team in Poland, shaping modern software for the pharmaceutical sector. You will blend hands-on coding with strategic architecture decisions and mentor a growing team across a distributed organization.

The role emphasizes cloud-native design, AI-assisted development, and delivering scalable solutions with a strong engineering culture. Remote-first with optional Lublin base.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience, including building production-grade systems.
• Experience leading or acting as technical lead for engineering teams.
• Background in modern web development, with technologies such as C#, .NET Core, SQL and React.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and scalable system design.
• Experience with Azure or AWS or GCP, microservices, containerisation, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• A passion for modern engineering practices, including AI-augmented development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in distributed teams.
• Fluent English.
