You will help automate infrastructure to guarantee reliability of the global Elastic infrastructure and collaborate with engineers across distributed teams. You will join an on‑call rotation and drive incident management improvements, champion operational excellence, and mentor teammates while fostering inclusive communication in a remote‑friendly

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer focusing on platform reliability.
• Background in software engineering to collaborate with engineers and deliver solutions.
• Experience with public cloud and managed Kubernetes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical initiatives to automate system engineering for reliability.
• Grow platform infrastructure by developing software, tooling and automation.
• Champion collaboration and operational excellence in a distributed team.
• Respond to and prevent major incidents; participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotation.
