Job summary

Comernal Software, part of Leica Geosystems within the Hexagon group, is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Software Engineer to build next-generation mobile apps for Reality Capture and geospatial workstreams. You will work across iOS and Android platforms, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to a modern software stack in a hybrid Katowice-based role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile software development.
• Proficient in iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) and/or Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose).
• Strong knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and cloud-based services.
• Experience with automated testing and QA practices.
• Familiarity with Git-based development workflows.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Build modern, scalable, and maintainable software architectures.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, QA engineers, and backend teams to deliver solutions.
• Integrate mobile apps with cloud services, APIs, and connected hardware devices.
• Participate in design, implementation, testing, and deployment across the product lifecycle.
• Ensure software quality through automated testing, code reviews and CI/CD practices.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into reliable software solutions.
• Optimize apps for performance, stability, battery life, and UX.
