Job summary

Comernal Software, part of Leica Geosystems within the Hexagon group, is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Software Engineer to build next-generation mobile apps for Reality Capture and geospatial workstreams. You will work across iOS and Android platforms, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to a modern software stack in a hybrid Katowice-based role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile software development.
• Proficient in iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) and/or Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose).
• Strong knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and cloud-based services.
• Experience with automated testing and QA practices.
• Familiarity with Git-based development workflows.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional teams.

This is you

Required

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mobile software development.
• Strong experience developing applications for iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) and/or Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose).
• Good understanding of software architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection).
• Experience integrating REST APIs and cloud-based services.
• Knowledge of mobile application performance optimization and debugging techniques.
• Experience with automated testing and quality assurance practices.
• Familiarity with Git-based development workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Good English language skills required for working in multinational teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Reality Capture, 3D visualization, GIS, mapping, or geospatial applications.
• Experience working with connected hardware devices such as scanners, sensors, cameras.
• Experience with offline-first mobile applications and data synchronization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with C++ integration in mobile applications (objc).
• Knowledge of camera, AR, LiDAR, or computer vision technologies.
