Job summary

DCG Poland seeks a Senior Middle Office Specialist in Warsaw to provide operational support to Traders with securities, cash, and derivatives transactions. In this role, you will monitor trades, manage settlement processes, and prepare various reports. Strong analytical skills, communication, and team collaboration are essential.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience in the financial sector and a professional proficiency in English, alongside a related university degree. The position offers private medical care, sports card financing, and dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

Position: Senior Middle Office Specialist

Job location: Warsaw

Senior Middle Office Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support to Traders with securities, cash and derivatives transactions
• Monitor trades, perform market matching and support transaction settlement processes
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Cooperate and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Brokers, Custodians, Accounting Teams and other business partners
• Perform control activities such as daily trade monitoring, reconciliations across systems and failed trade management
• Respond to complex client queries and perform analysis of discrepancies
• Support junior team members in their daily work
• Assist the Team Manager or Supervisor with operational, reporting and process-related tasks
• Ensure awareness of operational risk and maintain process compliance with relevant regulations
• Propose and implement new KRIs and controls to address or mitigate risks at team level
• Participate in the implementation of new products and review existing processes or applications to identify improvement opportunities
• Lead projects, changes and implementations at team or section level
• Ensure that team procedures and audit requirements are updated, completed and maintained across processes

Requirements:

• Professional working proficiency in English
• 2–3 years of experience in the financial sector, preferably within capital markets
• Good understanding of securities, cash and/or derivatives transactions
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Proactive, goal-oriented approach and willingness to speak up
• Strong communication skills and ability to cooperate with different stakeholders

Nice to have:

• University degree in Finance, Banking, Economics or a related field
