Job summary
Kitron Group in Grudziądz (hybrid work) seeks a Mechanical Sourcing and Quoting Specialist to assist RFQ analyses and cost modeling for HLA components. You will collaborate with sales and engineering to develop competitive quotes while driving cost-reduction initiatives.
You will evaluate supplier quotes, manage vendor development, and ensure alignment with quality and delivery targets across cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing, quoting or related fields.
- Proven vendor identification, development, and management experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and CAD proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical reviews of part designs and specs for production suitability.
- Analyse data to determine quote strategy during RFQ and cost drivers.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best pricing for components.
- Evaluate supplier quotes for competitiveness and alignment with project needs.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering and quoting teams to align quotes with capabilities.
- Oversee new HLA implementation in manufacturing processes (onboarding).
- Identify new suppliers and participate in vendor development and audits.
