Job summary

Valeo, a leading global automotive supplier, seeks a Material Planning/Production Control Manager for the Skawina site. You will lead procurement and scheduling teams, coordinate SIOP and MPS processes, and ensure realistic production plans while optimizing capacity, inventory and supplier performance.

You will collaborate with suppliers, production, logistics and purchasing to ensure continuity of production, driven by continuous improvement and strong data accuracy in SAP.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Material Planning or Production Control.
• Knowledge of SAP and logistics/planning systems.
• Very good knowledge of English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Procurement and Scheduling teams for the site.
• Define team objectives and KPIs and monitor achievement.
• Coordinate the site SIOP and MPS processes, including monthly SIOP and weekly MPS meetings.
• Ensure realistic production plans and manage site capacity and workload.
• Identify and manage bottlenecks related to capacity, materials, and suppliers.
• Coordinate actions with suppliers, production, logistics, purchasing and other stakeholders to ensure continuity of production.
• Coordinate demand for serial components from suppliers, forecast changes and customer requirements.
• Ensure accurate SAP data for effective material planning and supplier requirements.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and pursue improvement actions.
• Manage and optimize component inventory and lead actions to reduce stock and meet targets.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound transportation with Logistics and External Flow.
