Job summary

Rayda is a global asset lifecycle management company seeking a senior legal professional to draft, review and negotiate customer, vendor, partner and service agreements across multiple markets.

You will provide practical risk assessments, advise on data protection and IP matters, own contract lifecycle processes, and collaborate with Sales, Compliance & Risk Lead, Finance and product teams in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in commercial/corporate law.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating customer, vendor, partner and service agreements.
• Exposure to data privacy and technology-related legal matters is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of customer agreements, vendor and partner contracts, service agreements, data protection and privacy-related agreements, NDAs and other commercial contracts across Rayda’s operating markets.
• Manage contract negotiations with customers, vendors, partners and other third parties across multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner with Sales to provide practical legal guidance during negotiations and reduce friction in deals.
• Provide clear, commercially minded legal risk assessments for leadership and business teams.
• Advise on data protection, privacy, intellectual property and other legal matters relevant to Rayda’s products and operations.
• Own and improve Rayda’s contract lifecycle processes, templates and approvals.
• Develop contract templates, standard clauses and negotiation playbooks.
• Coordinate with Compliance & Risk Lead on intersecting regulatory and risk matters.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, People, Product, Sales and other teams on legal matters.
• Provide legal support for employment, consultancy and contractor arrangements.
• Support corporate governance and entity management.
• Coordinate external counsel for specialist advice.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments across Rayda’s markets.
• Help establish scalable legal processes and tooling.
• Provide pragmatic advice balancing legal risk, commercial objectives and speed.

Job Description

This is a remote position.

• Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of customer agreements, vendor and partner contracts, service agreements, data protection and privacy-related agreements, NDAs and other commercial contracts across Rayda’s operating markets.
  
• Manage contract negotiations with customers, vendors, partners and other third parties across multiple jurisdictions.
  
• Partner closely with Sales to provide practical legal guidance during customer negotiations and help reduce unnecessary friction in deal cycles.
  
• Provide clear, commercially minded legal risk assessments that enable leadership and business teams to make informed decisions.
  
• Advise on data protection, privacy, intellectual property and other legal matters relevant to Rayda’s products and operations.
  
• Own and improve Rayda’s contract lifecycle processes, including contract records, templates, approvals, renewals and key contractual obligations.
  
• Develop contract templates, standard clauses and negotiation playbooks to improve consistency and speed.
  
• Partner with the Compliance & Risk Lead on matters where legal, regulatory, compliance and enterprise risk considerations intersect.
  
• Partner with Finance, Operations, People, Product, Sales and other teams on legal matters affecting their functions.
  
• Provide legal support for employment, consultancy and contractor arrangements where required.
  
• Support corporate governance, entity management and other company-level legal matters.
  
• Coordinate external counsel where specialist or jurisdiction-specific legal advice is required.
  
• Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments across Rayda’s operating markets and advise the business on their legal implications.
  
• Help establish scalable legal processes, documentation and tooling as Rayda grows.
  
• Provide pragmatic legal advice that balances legal risk, commercial objectives and speed .
  

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience , preferably in commercial or corporate law.
  
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts , including customer, vendor, partner and service agreements.
  
• Experience gained within a reputable commercial law firm, technology company, SaaS business or high-growth environment .
  
• Strong understanding of corporate and commercial law , with exposure to data privacy and technology-related legal matters.
  
• Experience supporting cross-border transactions or businesses operating across multiple jurisdictions is highly desirable.
  
• Strong commercial judgment , with the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives and speed.
  
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical advice for non-legal teams and senior leadership .
  
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and comfortable owning legal matters independently from start to finish .
  
• High level of integrity, discretion and attention to detail .
  
• Comfortable working collaboratively with the Compliance & Risk Lead and other functions where legal and compliance matters intersect.
