Job summary

Bielsko is seeking a qualified Poland-based lawyer to lead drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad spectrum of commercial agreements. The role partners with procurement, operations and HR to align legal strategy with business goals.

The candidate will advise on contract structuring, risk allocation and compliance while supporting employment law matters and global trade compliance across Poland and beyond.

Qualifications

• Law degree and qualification to practice law in Poland.
• At least 3 years of experience in commercial law, contract drafting, review and negotiation.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business model.
• Well-organized and detail oriented with an outstanding work ethic.
• Able to independently manage and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
• Strong sense of ownership and proactive approach to provide business-friendly solutions and improve processes.
• Advanced functional, technical and process management skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, review and draft a wide variety of commercial agreements, including supplier, procurement, service and customer-facing contracts.
• Partner with procurement, operations, supply chain, HR and leadership teams to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice that supports strategic objectives.
• Advise stakeholders on contract structuring, risk allocation, compliance requirements and commercial negotiations to ensure balanced business outcomes.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal and commercial risks while enabling efficient business decision-making and operational continuity.
• Provide legal support on employment and labor law matters, working closely with HR and business leaders across Poland.
• Support Global Trade Compliance activities, including import/export regulations, compliance initiatives, investigations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with legal colleagues across EMEA, the US and India on cross-border legal projects, strategic initiatives and complex contracting matters.
• Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders and act as a strategic legal advisor to leadership teams in Poland.
• Develop and improve legal processes, contract templates, governance practices and compliance procedures to drive operational excellence.
• Leverage Legal AI solutions, technology and data-driven tools to enhance legal service delivery, contract lifecycle management and commercial decision-making.
• Work across borders, cultures and time zones, balancing legal governance with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.

Our requirements
