Job summary

Social Discovery Group is seeking a Legal Counsel to join our remote team. You will draft, review, and manage contracts across jurisdictions, support corporate governance globally, and provide practical legal advice to cross-functional teams.

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team.

Your Main Tasks Will Be

• Contract Lifecycle Management: draft, review, and manage a variety of commercial contracts across jurisdictions and departments, ensuring timely execution and legal consistency;
• Corporate Governance & Entity Management: manage the formation, maintenance, and dissolution of legal entities globally. Develop internal governance frameworks and ensure compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
• General Legal Advisory Support: act as a legal point of contact for cross-functional teams, handling day-to-day legal queries and providing practical, timely solutions on a broad range of topics;
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: collaborate closely with Finance, Compliance, HR, and Operations to support broader strategic initiatives and risk management;
• Legal Knowledge Management: help maintain and update internal legal resources, templates, and training materials to promote self-service and reduce reliance on ad-­hoc legal requests;
• Legal Process Automation & Optimization: drive the automation and continuous improvement of routine legal workflows to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual workload.

We Expect From You

• Proven experience in contract lifecycle management;
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law;
• Knowledge of consumer protection laws in the EU and in the USA;
• Knowledge of marketing and advertising compliance laws in the EU and in the USA;
• Knowledge of the EU and the US digital legislature, AI governance
• Russian C1+;
• English B2+.
