Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Java Software Engineer to design and build next-generation business applications within the Wealth Management Investing delivery team. You will work in the Technology division to provide digital banking solutions for clients and advisors.

You will design, plan, and deliver sustainable solutions using Java, Spring, Angular/React frontends, and cloud services. You will collaborate with software architects, review code, and guide delivery across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with Java.
• Strong Java backend and web frontend development knowledge.
• Experience with Spring, JPA and Hibernate.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology solutions to business problems in digital services.
• Design, plan and deliver sustainable software solutions.
• Analyze requirements to refine deliverables and reduce ambiguity.
• Collaborate with architects, teammates and third-party providers to drive delivery.
• Contribute architectural and SDLC activities; perform code reviews and testing.
• Ensure operational controls during production transition.
