Job summary

Sabre Kraków is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Java engineer to design and develop scalable microservices for identity and session state across Sabre’s enterprise ecosystem. You’ll uphold TDD, contribute to code reviews, and own features from design to production monitoring.

The role emphasizes cloud-native modernization on GCP with Kubernetes, collaboration with product and security teams, and a hybrid work setup with flexible hours. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Java applications and RESTful microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Frameworks.
• Proven testing expertise with TDD, unit/integration testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfort with relational databases (SQL) and basic shell scripting (Bash).
• Excellent communication in English and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java microservices and web apps powering identity and session state across Sabre's ecosystem.
• Practice TDD, write clean, testable code, and participate in code reviews to maintain quality.
• Drive feature delivery end-to-end from design and automated tests to CI/CD and production monitoring.
• Modernize legacy session management into cloud-native architectures (GCP / Kubernetes).
