Job summary

Miratech is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a European client project focused on tax administration software. You will contribute to development and maintenance for large public sector digital solutions, with a team of 20+ and a setup that emphasizes secure, scalable architecture and CI/CD pipelines.

The role demands strong Java, Spring/Quarkus experience, microservices with Docker/Kubernetes, and English communication within a global, distributed team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components per design specs.
• Perform integration, testing, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Unit test software components.
• Estimate project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to product roadmaps and CI/CD improvements.
