Job summary

Miratech is hiring a Senior Java Developer to join a team delivering customized software for a large European public-sector customer. The project covers tax administration systems, involving end-to-end lifecycle of tax declarations, calculations and data integration with external systems.

The role requires 6+ years of Java development, strong Spring/Quarkus experience, microservices and containerization, and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Good understanding of testing principles.
• Ability to communicate confidently in English.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to the design specifications
• Perform system integration and testing, problem troubleshooting, and resolution
• Perform unit testing of software components
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines
• Proactively collaborate with teammates and communicate with the Project Stakeholders to ensure that the Project efforts proceed efficiently and with predictability
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps
• Participate in triage activities (incident analysis and prioritization)
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes
