Job summary

Miratech is hiring a Senior Java Developer to work on development and maintenance for a large European client in the public sector. You will contribute to tax administration domain software, focusing on secure, scalable platforms and full lifecycle tax processing.

The role involves Java backend with Spring/Quarkus, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and REST/Kafka integrations. Strong English and collaboration across distributed teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka).
• Excellent communication in English and collaboration with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to the design specifications.
• Perform system integration and testing, problem troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Perform unit testing of software components.
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Proactively collaborate with teammates and communicate with the Project Stakeholders to ensure that the Project efforts proceed efficiently and with predictability.
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in triage activities (incident analysis and prioritization).
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes.
