Job summary

Miratech is hiring a Senior Java Developer to contribute to development and maintenance for a large European public sector client. The project focuses on a tax administration system with secure, scalable platforms and multiple external system integrations.

You will implement components, perform testing, assist with timelines, and collaborate with distributed teams to ensure predictable delivery. Strong English and 6+ years of Java experience are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Good testing principles and English communication.
• Strong collaboration with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to design specifications.
• Perform system integration, testing, troubleshooting and resolution.
• Perform unit testing of software components.
• Estimate project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient project progress.
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in triage activities and support CI/CD processes.
