Job summary

Miratech is hiring a Senior Java Developer to join a European project delivering tax administration software for a public sector client. You will develop and maintain scalable Java services, participate in integration, testing, and CI/CD improvements within a 20+ person team.

We expect 6+ years of Java experience, strong Spring and Quarkus expertise, and proficiency with microservices, containers, and REST/SOAP integrations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework, Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Good understanding of testing principles
• Ability to communicate confidently in English
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to the design specifications
• Perform system integration and testing, problem troubleshooting, and resolution
• Perform unit testing of software components
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines
• Proactively collaborate with teammates and communicate with the Project Stakeholders to ensure that the Project efforts proceed efficiently and with predictability
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps
• Participate in triage activities (incident analysis and prioritization)
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes
