Job summary

Miratech is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a European tax administration project, delivering scalable Java services using Spring and Quarkus in a microservices framework with CI/CD. The role involves collaborating with a distributed team to implement components, integrate with external systems, and ensure high-quality software delivery.

You will work on a complex tax processing system, participate in testing, debugging, and roadmap discussions, and communicate effectively in English

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Good testing fundamentals and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to design specifications.
• Perform system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Unit testing of software components.
• Estimate project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders for efficient project progress.
• Provide input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in incident triage and CI/CD optimization.
