We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a European project in the public sector, building secure, scalable tax administration software. You will work with Java, Spring, Quarkus, Angular, PostgreSQL, Kafka and CI/CD in a distributed

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and Kafka.
• Good understanding of testing principles.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to design specifications.
• Perform system integration and testing, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Perform unit testing of software components.
• Help estimate project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient project progress.
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in triage activities and incident analysis.
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes.
