Job summary

Miratech is hiring a Senior Java Developer who will take part in development and maintenance services for customized software solutions for a large European customer, a provider of innovative software solutions for the public sector.

The client focuses on secure, scalable platforms for administrative processes, data management, and digital transformation initiatives, including a tax administration system with complex life-cycle coverage and integration with external systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework, Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Good understanding of testing principles.
• Ability to communicate confidently in English.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to the design specifications.
• Perform system integration and testing, problem troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Perform unit testing of software components.
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Proactively collaborate with teammates and communicate with the Project Stakeholders to ensure that the Project efforts proceed efficiently and with predictability.
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in triage activities (incident analysis and prioritization).
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes.
